Your Holland Dutch Swim and Dive team traveled all the way to Ludington last night for a tri meet with Fremont and Ludington. The Dutch were led in scoring by Junior, Luke Arendshorst and Sophomore Aiden Lambers. Arendshorst placed second in the 200 freestyle and took first in the 100 breaststroke. Lambers took first in the 100 freestyle and second in the 100 backstroke. The medley relay team of Jonathan Ross, Arendshorst, Nazario Estrada and Lambers won the first event of the night. Ross placed second in the 200 Individual Medley and second in the 500 freestyle. Freshman Urban Cassar took third in the 50 free and Estrada took third in the 100 butterfly. “It was great to watch these guys race after three long weeks of hard training during Christmas Break. We’re really proud of their times,” said Coach Tonya Book. The Dutch will compete at Holland Christian’s D3 Invite this Saturday, January 10 at the Holland Aquatic Center. The meet will begin at noon.
