Today at Individual Districts, Andreas Valkema (190 lbs) etched his name into Holland Wrestling history by earning his 150th career victory with a semifinal win. Reaching 150 wins in the sport of wrestling is incredibly rare. It takes four years of varsity commitment, year-round training, toughness through injuries, and the ability to consistently compete — and win — against high-level opponents. This milestone is a true testament to Andreas’ work ethic, discipline, and competitive mindset. Andreas has been a steady force in our lineup at 190 — physical, composed, and relentless when the lights are brightest. To hit 150 wins at this stage of the postseason shows exactly who he is: dependable, battle-tested, and ready for the moment. With this achievement, Andreas joins the prestigious 150 Win Club, alongside his teammate Aiden Segovia, who also reached 150 victories this season. Having two wrestlers reach that mark in the same year speaks volumes about this senior class and the standard they’ve helped set for Holland Wrestling. The coaching staff, teammates, family, and the entire Holland community are incredibly proud.
