Holland falls just short to Union
By Daniel Telgenhof | Feb 24, 2026 9:17 PM
Holland made a huge fourth quarter run but couldn't quite complete the comeback against Grand Rapids Union. Finding themselves down 11 with just 5 minutes to play in the fourth, the Dutch hit some big shots and got several stops to get the game to a 4 point deficit with 1 minute to go. A great look at a three didn't fall and Holland ran out of time losing the game 30-24. "What a game. It was physical and filled with fouls but we didn't give in. I'm so proud of this group. To come all the way back with all the injuries and adversity we've faced tells you all you need to know about this group of young women. They are tough." said Coach Telgenhof. Miona Rogers led Holland with 13 while sophomore Reese Weeks added 6. Thursday night is Senior Night in the Dome.
