On Tuesday night, Holland lost to Allendale 2-0 in the first match of the season. "Allendale played with great skill," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "We had to increase our pace in order to compete tonight. I was happy with our effort and determination. We will work hard to possess the ball more in our next match." Holland is 0-1 on the season. The JV team tied Allendale 0-0. Holland will host conference rival Holland Christian on Friday.
