On Wednesday, Holland lost to conference rival Zeeland East 5-0. "I was disappointed because I didn't have the team ready to play at the beginning of the game," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "Zeeland East is very athletic and jumped out to a quick lead. After that, we settled in and played better, especially in the second half. We will work on being game-ready as we prepare for three non-conference games in a row." Holland is now 1-13-2. In JV action, Holland defeated Zeeland East 1-0.
