On Monday night, Holland defeated Black River 3-0 on Senior Night. Olivia Bernal started the scoring from an assist from Dee Rumpsa. In the second half Lesly Garcia and Leah Margaron each scored. Goalie Joy Cassidy earned the shut-out. "Black River is very well coached," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "I am happy we got the win, especially in the senior's last game at the Holland High soccer field. We appreciate the hard work and the leadership of Leah Margaron, Tabby Brown, Star Goodrich, Kelsie Dekker, Jubie Mascarro, Camila Ruiz, Karime Pulido, Dee Rumpsa, Keoni Gainey, and Lesly Garcia-Juarez." In JV action, the Holland JV defeated Black River 6-0.
