Holland Boys Golf Finishes 3rd at Regionals, Advances to Division 2 State Finals The Holland High School Boys Golf team punched their ticket to the MHSAA Division 2 State Finals after a strong 3rd-place finish at the Regional tournament held at Clearbrook Golf Course. Leading the way for the Dutch was senior Andrew Legg, who carded a team-low 73. Freshman Sam Howell followed with a 76, while juniors Graham Thompson and Hank Webb both posted 83s. Senior Preston Logan rounded out the scoring with an 87. The top-3 team finish secures Holland's spot in the Division 2 State Finals, set for June 5th and 6th at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, MI. "I'm incredibly proud of how this group competed today," said Head Coach Jason Voss. "Qualifying for the state finals as a team is something that takes contributions from everyone in the lineup, and these guys earned it. We're looking forward to representing Holland at The Meadows."
