On Wednesday night, Holland defeated conference opponent Hamilton 7-0. Senior Luke Rund-Scott recorded a hat trick, and Jovanny Carrillo netted two goals for Los Dutch. Also scoring goals were Asher Folkert and Pike Fletter. Goalies Simon Ozimek and Landon Van Ingen shared the shutout. "Hamilton is a much improved program under their coaching staff," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "Last year, we tied twice. Tonight, we were able to move the ball a little better and got some good scoring opportunities. We will need to maintain this level of play if we are going to be successful in the next few weeks against a very challenging schedule." Holland is now 5-0-1. In JV action, the Holland JV defeated Hamilton 6-0.
