On Tuesday night, Holland defeated conference rival Holland Christian 4-1. HC opened the scoring with a goal in the first 20 minutes, but Holland was able to tie the score 1:00 after with a goal by Hector Garcia and assisted by Santi Salazar. In the second half, Holland was able to score three more times to secure the win. Luke Rund-Scott scored from an assist by Jovanny Carrillo, Pike Fletter scored from a cross by Andi Andres, and Jovanny Carrillo scored from an assist by Asher Folkert. "Holland Christian pressed and put us on our heels tonight in the first half," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "Luckily, we responded in the second half. HC exposed some weaknesses that we will work on." Holland is now 6-0-1.
