Dutch XC Wraps Up another Strong Day at MSU as the girls' team took 2nd in the D2 race on Friday, led by Olivia Weiss who took 3rd overall, Tessa Neinhuis in 16th, Johanna Mulder in 19th and Molly Murphy in 21st, all four finishing in the top 30. Ashlyn Depoy in 42nd and Lexi Gibson in 61st rounded out scorers for the Dutch. In the boys’ race, the team finished 12th in the D2 race. Aiden Lambers took 4th overall, Caelen Gray in 34th, Jack Schulte in 54th, Will Rund in 102nd, and Rian Powers in 110th scored for the Dutch. Both teams showed improved confidence in racing which will be important as the team enters competition season in a few weeks with their first conference race on Sept. 23rd. We will look for more strong, consistent efforts they continue to build momentum this season. GO DUTCH.
