Holland Public Schools

On Monday night, Holland defeated Zeeland East 6-2. Holland started the first half with three goals by Luke Rund-Scott, Jovanny, Carrillo, and Hector Garcia. Andi Andrade and Malachi Hondered assisted. Luke Rund-Scott scored a second goal, assisted by Manny Boss to start the second half. After a couple of Zeeland East goals, Andrade fed Carrillo for a goal, and Dre Lopez assisted Santi Salazar for Holland's 6th. "Zeeland East always plays hard, and they are organized," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "They gained momentum in the second half with a couple of goals, but I was happy with the way we responded. It was an important conference win." Holland is now 9-0-2. In JV action, the Holland JV defeated Zeeland East 2-0.
