On Saturday, the Holland Men's Soccer Team took on cross-town rivals West Ottawa in a game that has become known as El Clasico and won 1-0. Freshman Jovanny Carrillo scored the match's lone goal on a direct kick. Simon Ozimek and the defense earned the shutout. "It was a tense match. Both teams really wanted the win," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "I was happy with the way we handled the pressure West Ottawa put on us. It is important for us to learn how to be successful in these very competitive matches." Holland is now 11-0-2. In JV action, Holland JV tied West Ottawa JV 1-1.
