On Monday night, the Holland Soccer team defeated conference foe Hamilton 3-1. After conceding a goal early, Holland was able to tie the game 1-1 before halftime and score two more in the second half for the win. Luke Rund-Scott scored the tying goal in the first half, and Hector Garcia and Santi Salazar scored the go-ahead goals for the Dutch. Manny Bos, Jovanny Carrillo, and Rund-Scott recorded assists. "Hamilton played very well, especially on the defensive end," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "They always play well on their home field. We had a slow start, but I think we played better in the second half. I am glad we got the important conference win." Holland is now 12-0-2. In JV action, the Holland JV beat Hamilton 3-0.
