On Wednesday night, Holland Soccer traveled to Holland Christian and won 3-0. Freshman Jovanny Carrillo scored on a penalty kick and again from an assist by Andi Andrade. The third goal was scored by Ben VanFaasen and assisted by Santi Salazar. Goalies Simon Ozimek and Landon VanIngen shared Holland's 10th shutout of the season. "Holland Christian played with intensity and organization," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "Despite the pressure, I thought our team played well. We matched their energy and converted our opportunities. It was an intense match between two proud rival programs." Holland is now 13-0-2. In JV action, the Holland JV team avenged their lone loss of the season by beating Holland Christian 2-0.
