On Monday night, Holland traveled to Forest Hills Central and tied the Rangers 2-2. Holland conceded two goals early, but fought back to knot the score. Jovanny Carrillo scored both goals, and Aime Kibango earned an assist. Goalie Simon Ozimek preserved the shutout with a penalty kick save. "Forest Hills Central had a very effective game plan," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "I was happy that we were able to battle back from an early deficit. We showed heart, and it was a great challenge as we near the state playoffs." Holland is now 12-0-3. In JV action, the Holland JV beat Forest Hills Central 3-0.
