Holland Public Schools

On Saturday, Holland Soccer defeated Allendale 1-0 for the District Championship. Asher Folkert headed in a beautiful corner kick from Caelen Gray for the lone goal in the contest. "Allendale is an excellent team," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "We knew that they play with great control and aggression. We were able to absorb their pressure, and Asher scored an incredible goal. I am very happy for the team, and we look forward to seeing Unity in the Regional Semifinal." Holland is now 16-1-4 and play Unity Christian in the Regional Semifinal on Tuesday at 6:00 at Zeeland West.
