On Tuesday night, Holland Soccer defeated Unity Christian 3-0 in a Regional Semifinal. After a scoreless first half, Holland got on the board with a goal from Luke Rund-Scott, assisted by Jovanny Carrillo. Carrillo scored a few minutes later, this time assisted by Santi Salazar. A chip by Sawyer DeWitt capped the scoring. Goalie Simon Ozimek and the Holland defense earned their 14th shutout of the season. "Unity is a very strong team," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "It was very stressful in the first half. Luckily, we were able to find more space and connected more passes in the second half. That led to better scoring chances. I was very proud of the way the team performed under pressure, and we are very happy to be moving on to the Regional Final." Holland is now 17-1-4 and will face Marquette in Petosky on Thursday at 6:00 pm
