The Holland High varsity tennis team defeated former conference foe, Mona Shores, on Thursday afternoon. The Dutch earned a 6-2 win after sweeping the doubles matches and picking up wins at #1 and #2 singles. "Mona Shores is very well-coached and they always play us tough," said Holland coach Kyle Kreps. "Our point construction was better today, but we still need to focus on cutting down unforced errors and being more active at the net. I'm proud of the team for the effort they displayed today." Holland is now 6-1-3 on the year. The Dutch will host Hamilton next Wednesday to kickoff the OK Black Conference season.
