Your Holland Dutch Varsity Swim and Dive Team traveled to Otsego High School for a double dual meet with The Bulldogs of Otsego and The Hawkeyes of Hamilton. Winning events against Otsego were Senior, Miriam Lopez-Koolhaas in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke and Junior, Maggie Telgenhof in diving. Holland’s heat winners were Junior, Ayanna Rodriguez in the 200 and 100 freestyle and Freshman Rylie Solomon in the 100 backstroke. “The energy at the meet was so amazing because everyone was cheering for each other!” Declared Senior Captain Karinna Martinez. The Dutch will compete at home on Tuesday, September 10 against Unity Christian. The meet will begin at 6:30 at The Holland Aquatic Center.
