On Monday night, Holland Men's Soccer defeated conference opponent Hamilton 6-0. Holland was able to score three goals in the first half and 3 in the second half. Forwards Odis Fickel and Ali Sakhi-Zada each scored two goals. Josia VanHekken and Javier Carrillo each tallied for Los Dutch. Armondo Gonzales, Luis Parra, Ethan Mercado, Fickel, and VanHekken each recorded assists. Keepers Josh Keller and Mark Jordan earned shut-outs. "Hamilton played with great effort in the first half and gave us a lot of problems," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "Thankfully, we started moving the ball better in the second half. I was really happy how all of our players passed tonight, and hopefully, we will play with pace on Wednesday when we host Holland Chrisitan." Holland is now 8-1-1. In JV action, Holland JV beat Hamilton 3-0. The Holland JV team is now 9-0.
