On Monday, Holland hosted Zeeland West and won 3-0. In the first half, Ali Sakhi Zada put in a rebound off the post to put the Holland team up 1-0. In the second half, Odis Fickel first assisted Sakhi Zada and then scored himself to cap the match scoring. Goalies Josh Keller and Mark Jordan shared the shutout. "Zeeland West played excellent defense tonight," said Holland soccer coach Greg Ceithaml. "I am glad we were able to convert and get the win. We celebrated the achievements of our seniors tonight, so we are happy with the win." Holland celebrates the efforts of its seniors Josh Keller, Michael French, Javi Carillo, Alan Estrada, Ryland Vanderploeg, Ethan Mercado, Armando Gonzales, Ali Sakhi Zada, and captains Gabe Bos, Luis Parra, and Odis Fickel. Holland is now 11-3-3. In JV action, the Holland JV beat Zeeland West 3-0. The Holland JV are 13-0-1.
