The Holland Dutch Swim and Dive Team traveled to Calvin University for a conference dual with Grand Rapids Christian. Senior and co-captain Miriam Lopez-Koolhaas took second in the 50 and 100 freestyle and fellow senior, Rilee Hoebbel took third in the 100 butterfly with a season best time of 1:16.60. The Dutch recorded several personal best times for their swims. Co-Captain Karinna Martinez had season best swims in her events, the 200 and 500 freestyle. “The pool was really nice and the team had good energy and there were a lot of PR’s!” Exclaimed Marinez. Holland will celebrate their seven seniors: Zoe DeGraaf, Rilee Hoebbel, Danielle Hughes, Marua Koudri, Miriam Lopez-Koolhaas, Karinna Martinez and Morgan Siffin on Tuesday, October 8 at The Holland Aquatic Center. The team will host Holland Christian with senior introductions starting at 6:15pm.
