Cross Country Races Strong at Final Conference Meet

The Holland High School cross country teams had a fantastic showing at their recent meet, with many runners achieving personal bests. Aiden Lambers led the boys with a time of 16:46, earning a personal record (PR), followed closely by Caelen Gray, who ran an impressive 17:21 for another PR. Alessandro Castillo finished strong in 17:37, while Luke Arendshorst crossed the line in 19:07. Noah Rosales celebrated a personal record with 19:10, and Quinn Bloemendaal achieved a PR with a time of 19:38. Ryan Geerts rounded out the boys’ team with a solid finish at 20:06. On the girls’ side, Lexi Gibson raced to an impressive 8th place finish and a PR of 19:10, Ambria DePoy finished strong at 20:52, while Ashlyn DePoy raced confidently and dropped time to a PR 22:01. Ashley Saldana also set a PR at 22:22, contributing to the team's success. Harper Schoon-Tanis finished at 22:40, achieving a PR, and Lizbeth Carrillo ran 23:35 for another personal best. Annie Lou Howell rounded out the top finishes at 23:54. In the junior varsity races, Dieudonne Bahati led with a PR of 19:58, followed closely by Raul Reyes at 20:05 Emerson Wolbrink finished at 22:27, setting a personal best, while Azariel Silva crossed the line with a PR of 26:56. Adelle Snyder finished in 27:02. Cherlande Stout achieved a PR with 27:04, and Kimia McMullen finished strong at 27:07.With so many personal records and strong performances from all the runners, the Holland cross country teams are showing confidence as they finish out the last part of their season.
