Holland Women's Soccer beats Allendale 2-0

On Tuesday night, the Holland Women's Soccer Team defeated Allendale 2-0. Emma Margaron scored the first Dutch goal on a well-placed direct kick in the first half and then assisted Lesly Garcia-Juarez who had a wicked turn and a thunderous shot in the second half. Goalie Khee Rumpsa earned the shut-out with 12 saves behind the excellent defense of Kennedy Romin, Tabby Brown, Megan Smith, Olivia Bernal, and Olivia Weiss. "I was very proud of our team," said the Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "Allendale is an excellent team, and after losing to them 5-0 last year, this marks a big improvement in our program." Holland is now 2-0. In JV action, the JV team earned a hard-fought 0-0 tie with Allendale.
