The Holland Varsity Softball team traveled to West Ottawa to open their season but fall 20-15. Holland's bats were hot but miscues on defense made the difference in the end. Addyson Hill went the distance for the Dutch on the mound. Addyson Hill, Nevaeh Ramos, and Morgan Siffin lead the Dutch at the plate with multiple hits. "We came ready to hit but nerves seemed to get to us in our first game. We are young, which makes this entire process exciting for our coaching staff. If we can minimize mental mistakes, we have the talent to compete", said coach Hill. The Dutch will host Grand Rapids Christian on Tuesday, April 1st.
