On Thursday night, Holland hosted Zeeland East and lost 2-0. Zeeland scored in the first four minutes and in the last six minutes to seal the win. "Zeeland East played well and pressured our goal," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "I liked the way we played, but we tried a new formation tonight, and it will take a while to build confidence with it. I am very satisfied with our effort, but we need time to build chemistry." Holland is now 2-4. In JV action, Holland JV tied Zeeland East 0-0.
