The Holland varsity softball team dropped both games on the road to #3 ranked Unity Christian Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore Addyson Hill took the loss for the Dutch in game 1, while freshman Ryleigh Luna took the loss in game 2. Nevaeh Ramos reached base 4 times on the day collecting 3 hits and getting hit by pitch. Daisy Byrd tripled scoring 2 runs in the first game. "Unity is a really good team. I was excited to see what we could do against a team of that caliber. We struggled defensively, but we had a good day at the plate. I think we surprised them a little with our ability to hit the ball against some of their good pitchers. We are hoping to get healthy over the next 2 weeks and playing our best softball heading into the final stretch of the season", said coach Hill. Holland falls to 1-15 on the season and 0-8 in conference play. The Dutch will be back in action next Tuesday as they travel to Wyoming Lee for a single game.
