Holland Public Schools

The Holland High School varsity softball team went on the road to face Zeeland West Tuesday afternoon. The Dux were able to take both games from the Dutch in conference play. Sophomore Addyson Hill took the loss for Holland in game 1, while Ryliegh Luna took the loss in game 2. Baylee Rittenhouse collected the only hit for the Dutch on the afternoon. "We were not ready to play today, and I take full responsibility for that. Our youth showed throughout the double header against a heavy loaded senior Zeeland team. They hit the ball well and played great defense. We did hit and put it in play, but right at someone. I hope we bounce back against South Christian", said coach Hill. The Dutch will host South Christian on Wednesday for a non-conference double header.
