On Wednesday night, Holland traveled to Hamilton and tied the Hawkeyes 1-1. The Dutch conceded a first-half goal, but defended and pressured the Hamilton goal much better in the second half. Asher Folkert scored on a header that was flicked on by Josiah VanHekken for the tying goal. "Hamilton was a very strong team, especially on the defensive side," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "I was happy with our effort, but we have to clean up our touches in order to give ourselves better chances to score." Holland is now 1-1-1. In JV action, the Holland JV beat Hamilton 3-1.
