Dual Meet Holland Varsity vs Thornapple Kellogg High School (114-66) Win Tri Meet Holland Varsity vs Ludington High School (97-85) Win The Holland Dutch Women's Swim and Dive Team won their tri-meet with Ludington and Thornapple Kellogg on Tuesday evening at The Holland Aquatic Center. Sophomore Imagyn Van Veen won the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke. Sophomore Olivia Bernal won the 50 free and took second in the 100 free. Sophomore Paige Frens placed second in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. Senior Maggie Telgenhof got third in the 100 breaststroke. A third place finish in the 100 butterfly went to freshman Sage Brown and fellow freshman Ale Rojas took third in backstroke. Sophomore Ally Valentine placed third in diving with a score of 145.25. The 200 free relay team of Bernal,Telgenhof, freshman Cesia Pedraza and Frens won first place overall. "The excitement on deck was contagious!" Said Coach Tonya Book. "We had great competition tonight and our team was on fire!" The Dutch will compete at home next Tuesday, September 16 against Muskegon Mona Shores. The meet will begin at 6:30.
