Maggie Telgenhof placed 10th out of 23 divers with a score of 257.35 for 11 dives at The Holland Invitational on Saturday, September 20. The meet was held at The Holland Aquatic Center and showcased ten teams from all over the state. Sophomore Ally Valentine placed 16th in diving with a score of 212.75. Telgenhof scored 9 of Holland's 19 points and Valentine added 3. Sophomore Imagyn VanVeen scored a point in her personal best swim in the 500 with a time of 6:53.94. The 200 Free Relay team of Paige Frens, Cesia Pedraza, Lena D'Addona and Olivia Bernal added four points. Sage Brown, Valentine, Pedraza and Frens teamed up in the 400 free relay to give Holland two more points. "This was another good learning opportunity for our young team." Said Coach Tonya Book. "We had several personal best swims and a very positive environment. I'm really proud of these girls!" Holland will travel to Unity Christian on Tuesday, September 23 for their next meet.
