On Monday night, Holland hosted Forest Hills Central and lost 2-1. After Forest Hills scored in the first 3 minutes, Holland held the Rangers and tied the game when Aime Kibango slotted a ball to Josiah VanHekken. Although Holland played well in the second half, the Dutch conceded in the last 12 minutes and could not convert to overcome the one-goal difference. "Forest Hills Central is a very strong team," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "I was happy with the way we played. We moved the ball, transitioned, and created good scoring chances. This was an intense match, and games like this will make us better." Holland is now 6-2-5. In JV action, Holland JV defeated Forest Hills Central JV 3-0.
