Holland Swim and Dive competed against Unity Christian at Hudsonville’s Freshmen Campus last night. The Dutch lost the meet 78-97. Freshman Cesia Pedraza placed second in the 100 freestyle and classmate Ale Rojas took third in the event. Sophomore Ally Valentine swam the 500 freestyle and got second place and fellow sophomore Rylie Solomon was third in the event. Senior Maggie Telgenhof took third place in diving. Sophomore Paige Frens placed third in the 100 butterfly. “This was a fast paced meet and the team stepped up and found success improving times and techniques,” said Coach Tonya Book. The Dutch will travel to Hamilton for their next meet on Tuesday, September 30.
