Holland hosted Jenison on Monday. In a match that was about as close as one can be, the Wildcats prevailed, edging the Dutch 6-3. Six matches went to a third-set super-tiebreaker, and Jenison was able to pull out four of them, which proved to be the difference. The Dutch earned wins from Floyd Webb (#1 singles), Ethan Byrd (#2 singles), and the #2 doubles team of Hank Webb & Owen Baer. "This was a very competitive match that could have gone either way," said Holland coach Kyle Kreps. "Credit to Jenison for closing out a few more of the close ones." Today's match was also Senior Day for the Dutch. Holland recognized the hard work, commitment, and leadership of Royce Cano, Andrew Elwood, Peyton Lehman, Harper Prutch, Christian Ramirez, and Graham VanFaasen.
